Mary Lu likes to pull us along.
Here, she and Juan were at the park with John, watching the geese.
She's really strong.
Pretty much everything she does cracks Juan up.
Ok, I know it's a lot of similar photos, but they're great.
I can't believe how grown up he is.
Watching the geese.
Pointing at the goslings.
Juan likes to socialize during T-Ball
The bunk beds that John built.
The bunk beds now painted blue.
Today this cat decided that she loves Juan. She's been hanging out in our yard for months, showing no interest. Again, Juan looks like he's going to be 14 tomorrow.
Mary Lu meowed at the cat nonstop for the 10 minutes or so we were outside with her.
Juan at 1st base.
Mary Lu likes to play on the pitcher's mound (set off to the side during T-Ball)
Stretching in his Cardinals jersey.
Juan at bat.
Watching T-Ball practice.
Apparently we have some sort of chain-link motif. Here is Mary Lu at the dam.

I had the camera on some weird setting but this is Juan and Mary Lu giving thumbs up before we go in to explore this tunnel by the dam.
Yelling.
Juan loves to go to the dam. On this day, we had a picnic.
Both love to throw rocks into the water over or through the fence. A favorite at the lake also.
I don't know if I've mentioned that Mary Lu loves to sweep and clean in general. Juan was the same way. If Mary Lu makes a mess, she won't even miss a beat, she'll just run to get a towel or broom to clean it up.
Juan and Mary Lu cooking while I make breakfast. Mary Lu has done this for months, but recently Juan started getting in on the act and things get a lot messier now.
They were supposed to be in washing their hands. I just saw today that Juan actually washes Mary Lu's hands for her. I happened to be in there when it was time for them to wash hands and they have this whole routine they go through where he gets her hands wet, gives her just a little soap because, "if you get too much soap you go crazy Mary Lu!" (he tells her), and then rinses them. They are really awesome siblings. They make each other laugh all day long. And now that they both go to sleep in the same bed, they crack each other up while they are supposed to be going to sleep (I have one on either side of me while they're getting to sleep). Then Mary Lu crawls over me to get to Juan and they have a big love fest at least once during the process. Last night during it Juan kept repeating something like, "oh you just went ahead and loved me," or something similar. I wish I could remember exactly because it was such a quirky phrase. Anyway, eventually they lie holding hands over me and go to sleep. Really, almost every night.
Mary Lu eating blueberries. Yes, her chair is still white. I was Johnnie-on-the-spot.
Juan heading into the tunnel by the dam.
Juan flying his airplane kite over our house. We are at the park, but that's our white house in the background.
Flying the kite.
This is a great photo.
I don't know if the world is ready for how cute Mary Lu looks in pigtails.
Juan was pretty excited that we got the airplane kite in the air. We've had it for a year and this was our first successful flight.
